For many interiors, wallpapers can add the perfect finishing touch. And lately, more and more of my clients are opting for paper over paint, to make a bolder, signature statement in their homes.
One of my favorite wallpaper houses is Wolf-Gordon, an American design company founded in 1967. Wolf Gordon offers wall coverings with extraordinary design and dependable performance. From vinyls to silks and suedes to grass cloths, their papers are uniquely beautiful, technologically advanced and easy on the environment.
I particularly love their Organics Collection. Made of kenaf (from the hibiscus family) cellulose and a biodegradable polyester – fabricated from soy and corn and backed with recycled newspaper – this Collection is durable, breathable, washable and compostable. Now that is what I call sustainable!
And for an even more customized look, Wolf Gordon has high resolution UV printing capabilities, offering designers and their clients infinite creative possibilities. I can now incorporate as many colors and in whatever scale, pattern or repeat I want, to create photo murals or reinforce interior schemes with pattern, depth and shapes.
Wolf Gordon is a valuable design resource for me because of their innovative products and has a growing line of upholstery and drapery textiles as well. And going to their New York showroom is always a great experience for me – their displays are as dazzling and creative as their papers and I’m a kid in a candy store when I walk thru that door!
